2020 SC Arts Higher Education Forum

The SC Arts Higher Education Forum is a one-day event that connects leaders from both K-12 education and higher education in the arts. It provides a unique opportunity to strengthen and expand our community as well as dialogue with others towards exemplary arts education for all SC students.

We are thrilled to host Dr. Ron Beghetto as our Keynote Speaker

Dr. Beghetto is an internationally recognized expert on creativity and innovation in educational settings. He serves as the Pinnacle West Presidential Chair and Professor in the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College at Arizona State University. Dr. Beghetto is the Editor for the Journal of Creative Behavior, series editor for Creative Theory and Action in Education (Springer Books), a Fellow of the American Psychological Association, and a creativity advisor for LEGO Foundation. He has published 10 books and over a 100 articles and chapters on the topic of creativity in educational settings.

His recent books include, Beautiful Risks, What If? and  Killing Ideas Softly (the promise and perils of creativity in the classroom)
