AC Moore is a small school in the middle of the historic Hollywood/Rosehill community in Columbia. Our ninety-three-year-old school has taught generations of neighborhood families including those of senators, community leaders, a governor and even a Nobel Prize winner. AC Moore is located near the University of South Carolina, and our school benefits from the many families that come from all over the world. The sixteen different languages that are represented in our ESOL program reflect the beauty of our diversity as one of the most diverse schools in Richland County School District One. We believe that each child should have the opportunity to succeed in and through the arts. We have been an ABC school since 1999 and are proud of our heritage of providing and promoting the arts to creatively inspire students, define our unique culture, and make connections between all academic areas. As an ABC Certified School, A.C. Moore will continue to improve and expand the opportunities for all students to learn and succeed in all the arts areas: creative writing, dance, media arts, music, theatre, and visual art.
