A.C. Moore Elementary School is a small neighborhood school in the heart of Columbia, SC. The school’s 387 students hail from more than fifteen countries, from China to Iran to Mexico. A.C. Moore is the most diverse elementary school with the largest ESOL population (35%) in Richland County School District One. More than half (56%) of the students qualify for free or reduced lunch. Thirty-seven highly qualified teachers serve students in Pre-Kindergarten through Fifth Grades. Both the music and visual art teachers are highly qualified and National Board Certified. Dance and theatre opportunities are provided to students in after-school programs.
